There may not necessarily be only one corresponding author for a SCI journal paper, and there is no fixed standard for how many there can be. This is because different SCI journals have different policies regarding the number of corresponding authors. For SCI journals that only accept one corresponding author, if the paper is written with multiple corresponding authors, the first corresponding author will be automatically selected. For SCI journals that accept two corresponding authors, two corresponding authors can be listed. The same applies to other requirements. Therefore, the number of corresponding authors written by the authors must comply with the regulations of the target SCI journal. The first author of an SCI paper is the person who has made the greatest contribution to the experiment and writing of the paper, and is the person who is listed first in the authors' column. However, in collaborations involving multiple people, it is common to have co-first authors. There is no specific requirement for the number of co-first authors, and it varies greatly depending on the workload, length of the paper, publication regulations, and institutional recognition. Generally speaking, having 2-4 first authors for an SCI paper is most common

The corresponding author is the overall person in charge of the project, responsible for the project's funding, design, writing of articles, and quality control. They are responsible for communicating with the journal during submission, peer review, and the entire publication process

Experience Sharing: The vast majority are review articles, not major reviews yet, but more like editorials or small reviews, the articles are very short, around 2 pages, mostly invited submissions. In addition, this journal is very special, it can also accept a type of article called "My Approach", which are mostly invited submissions. Trend in Cardiovascular Medicine provides in-depth and cutting-edge reviews of scientific advancements in cardiovascular medicine, written and reviewed by internationally renowned experts. Articles offer an authoritative insight into a variety of topics, including the fundamental mechanisms, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of heart and blood vessel disorders for both clinicians and basic scientists. The topics provide perspectives on all aspects of cardiology, ranging from arrhythmias to vascular pathologies

Surprise, last year it was just over 1 point, but this year it suddenly jumped to over 2 points. However, once it surpasses 3 points, it's like crossing a threshold, and things will be easier from then on
